  1. Thanks Clive, after lots of rummaging I've also found out my ERM working back from the chassis number and the Merlin Archive. Turns out it is a Paratow and an ex-generator trailer! FVE21A/3803 is Paratow.
  2. I've run my Ambulance on its standard 1974 dated coil for the past 14 years with no ill effect. When I fitted a kit to the 2.25P in the 88in S1 last year I went with a fancy red powerspark one as I was getting kit/leads/plugs etc and freshening the engine up anyway. No real improvement that I can detect, they both start instantly and run beautifully as most fettled 2.25P do Alec.
  3. I was idly looking to see if I could determine which manufacturer made my Mk2 WT (a true Mk2, not an updated Mk1, with the later recessed Hydratow Mk4 Hitch) as its Body/ERM plate is missing but the chassis plate is there (FVE21A/3803). I started pooling references from various photos and the limited documents I have, I came up with the following: Widetrack Trailer Contracts Mk1 Contract: WV12094 - ? Mk2 Contract: FVE21A/352 - Arrow Construction Equipment Ltd Contract: FVE21A/3801 - GKN Sankey Contract: FVE21A/3802 - Arrow Construction Equipment Ltd Contract: FVE21A/3803 - ?? Contract: FVE21B/82 - ? Mk3 Contract: LVIA/231 - Universal Engineering Contract: LVIA/155 - Viking Trailers Contract: ???????? - Paratow Ltd Does anyone have some more info/contributions to add? I thought it may be an interesting subject (or rabbit hole depending on your level of obsession, ha ha). Alec.
  4. Old Topic I know, but if anyone happens to have saved copies of the docs mentioned here, I'd be most appreciative of a copy myself: FV987957 iss 05.pdf FV987957FI iss 01.pdf FV987958 iss 05.pdf FV987958FI iss 01.pdf Hakenkupplung NATO hitch.pdf Cheers, Alec.
  5. That's an excellent example! Like the note for when its used with the No.3 Cooker. The "Trade Pack" No. 4 of 240 did make me chuckle, the Military didn't do their orders by half eh!? Alec.
  6. Hi Folks, Looking for a couple of the Remote Stands for cooking over the spare H-Burners from a No.4 Sankey Kitchen. Supplied to go in the vehicle rather than included in the trailer so they often go astray. Please PM if you have ones to spare, thanks. Alec.
  7. Oh they most certainly have been! The one from your Ipad anyway. Coincidentally I replied earlier. Alec.
  8. Still looking if anyone has any in the back of their storage sheds/bottom of their scrap piles! Cheers, Alec.
  9. I have spent many hours perusing the site. The search terminology can be a nightmare but if you persevere its amazing what turns up! Alec.
  10. Due to the proximity of the exhaust manifold/front pipe to the "Dash", it may or may not serve as a fire-wall Superb job as always, nicely thought out and always good to see things being bolted on. Alec.
  11. This site is a continuous source of surprise and information! A Nuffield Jeep, a bob-tailed lightweight Jeep, never heard of one before! Will be interesting to follow this refurb. Were they mass produced, or a limited-numbers type thing? Alec.
