  1. Just checked the NSNs for the hook on the Hernia bar on the Eka in case it helps LV7SL 2540998288874 for the hook. Another 21 NSNs for the remainder if you need them..

    P-Clip Supplier?

I've used Westfield Fasteners before - look under hose clips jubilee clips, and hose clamps. A4 has worked well in a marine environment for me. https://www.westfieldfasteners.co.uk/HoseClip.html Also good for proper A4 items which last forever. Toby
  3. I thought it was an excellent show. Well done Andy, Matt, Donna, John and all the team. With much thanks to the REME Museum for their Conqueror, M578 and little trailer.
  4. You may wish to try some marine glazing companies such as sea glaze. While much is done in perspex, they will be used to odd shapes. There is also a company in Poole? That may do it. T
  5. I have a Scammellers book by Nicky Armstrong for sale. Has its original carboard box. £15 + P&P.. Item in mid Hampshire.
  6. Dear all, Work had an excellent conference and development day at the REME Museum in Lyneham the other day. Very happy with the facilities and the staff were first class. We used the opportunity to tour the museum and use it in a vignette. Excellent value and highly recommended. There is a cafe on site for refreshments as well. https://www.rememuseum.org.uk/ Toby
  7. FBW are Swiss. Spoke to an owner who said they were RHD so the driver could see the edge on narrow mountain roads.

    W+P 2022 ?

It's Capel for me. Went last year and friendly staff and good show. The REME museum Cent ARV on John's Contractor and REME Museum little trailer will definitely be there.
  9. Beautiful Diamond T open cab tank transporter tractor towing 2T Rubbery Owen trailer heading East at Winchester on A31/A272. Going to Capel?
  10. I believe on Panther, the field solution was to put a pack strap around the run flat and make it into a fig 8. Would need levering or pack strap at 90 degrees to original to extract from tyre. I assume the run flat is a doughnut. T
  11. The brakes should not be binding that quickly through heat. If I understand correctly, then they are OK from cold, but bind after a small amount of use, hence searching for a one way valve type of effect. Besides, a hot drum ought to expand out more than in. Have you checked the old shoes and done a size comparison?
  12. I assume all 4 brakes are binding. It seems as if brake fluid is being pumped to the brakes but not returning. In addition to Richard's suggestions, check Flexi hoses common to all 4 wheels. Internal failure can happen (and has happened to me) in this way. Easily checked by pumping brakes till they bind then crack brake end of Flexi hose and see if they release. Clearly bleed properly before going on road. Good luck. Toby
  13. Thanks, I do mean the input shaft oil seal. Taking the old one out is definitely plan B if I can't get a seal before stripping it. Anything of the right size I have seen available looks an odd shape, hence why knowing will be useful.
  14. Dear all, the diff pinion oil seal on the middle axle of my Crusader EKA needs replacing. I have tried the Manufacturer's Part Number (5091-257) and the NSN (5330-99-819-3008) from the ISPL through google and the suppliers I can find but no joy. Does anyone have a drawing of the seal or know of a someone who sells them? Does anyone also have the EMER or AESP for the job or know if any special tools are required and any relevant torque settings. Thanks in advance Toby
