  1. Welcome along Harley, how did you get on insuring a FV434 AT 18 ? Phil
  2. welcome along Dave, you can loose days just browsing the forums Phil
  3. Went down for the event too, what's the score with the yellow defender on an "05" plate ? Now for the real problem, after leaving the bunker we called in to see the bloke around the corners with all the ex-mod Land Rovers, having spent about an hour with him in the pouring rain, took his card and agreed to phone him later in the week about purchasing some lightweight spares. When we arrived home in Cumbria found that I'd lost his business card. Does any one know his name and phone number ? Phil
  4. Just copied this off the directgov website - Category H To drive a tracked vehicle you will need to hold a full category B (car) licence. Any vehicle used for category H tests must have adequate all-round visibility to enable the driver to carry out manoeuvres and deal with junctions safely. Any vehicle requiring a second person to help with observation, such as a military vehicle, is not suitable for test purposes. Is this new ? Phil
  5. Was there a specific 58 pattern ammo pouch for those issued with L2A3 sterling smg, if not how many mags would be carried within a standard 58 pattern pouch ? Many thanks Phil
  6. With introduction of the SIG P226 as the British armies main side arm, have any genuine ex army L9A1 browing Hi Power pistol reached the deactivated market yet ? Most retailers just list them as FN GP 35 Hi Power Phil
  7. in the case of the second one, they say they've only have one for sale
  8. I think this one is just as nice and only half the price http://www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicle/,26,52,/17647/Reynolds_Boughton.htm Phil
  9. Yeah, always fancied a lightweight in UN markings, makes for a bit of variety at shows Phil
  10. Cheers mate, it's the other type that I need.
  11. Can anyone identify whether this tool box should go under the bonnet or the rear wheel arch of a lightweight? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Landrover-Lightweight-toolbox-/250662138974?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5ca0b45e Many thanks Phil.
  12. Hi all, How does a Clansman PRC351 fit into a non-FFR (GS) Lightweight Land Rover ? Has anyone got any pictures of this set-up ? Many thanks Phil
