  2. Glad everything went well ,see you at Dorset Regards Alan
  3. Hi Mike sorry to hear about the hassle you have had to contend with,i suppose there is always a negative side to running a show. Nice to hear of Dave Weedons input to the show it will be nice to have a Wynns T along with the rest of us,am really looking forward to this event, as it must be a first at any show to have so many Diamond T,s together and working together. Many thanks for making it possible. Regards Alan.
  4. Hi Dave Ebay item no 200613023373 might lead to supplier of oil filters. Regards Alan
  5. Do hope so, OLD JOE being the last one in military care would be the star of the show for me.And to have the Antar and Commander as well, three of the best.
  6. Wynns certainly worked their T,s hard and got the best out of them with the original hercules engine , hard to understand them being gutless. The fitting of cummins engines gave them an extra lease of life to be able to cope with the ever increasing wieghts they had to handle.
  7. Wonderful period photos John thanks for posting them. Regards Alan .
  8. Just realised im going to drive over six hundred miles in the T during August :nut::nut:
  9. Hi Steve will get over to Macclesfield when i get a weekend off so i can get a good diesel fix:D I have not entered Astle Park as i am driving the T to Pickering steam rally the week before :drive: and then at the end of August driving it down to Dorset :drive::drive::drive:i do have to be available for work in between at weekends. Regards Alan. Have you sorted the rolls yet ?
  10. Computor has decided to go into silent mode :banghead: can not hear the Hercules, am now going outside to listen to my underpowerd leyland engined 981 :-(.
  11. Hi David if you need a starter switch i have one that came of my T, as i have simplified the starting to a push button on the dash. Regards Alan.
  12. Hi Tony i can confirm that the blue diamond is the ex cadzow t,it stayed in that same spot for years before i became involved with it,photo taken at Massy brothers yard Longcliffe Derbyshire.
  13. Hi Adrian. finished or not your T will be admired for the quality of work you have put into it,also it will be part of what hopefully will be the largest gathering of 980-981 diamond T,s ever in preservation, making for a historic and fun filled event. Are you driving yours to Dorset?. Regards Alan.
