Thanks for the info gents, I was thinking more along the lines of if a Willys MB is missing its chassis tag (the one behind the bumper) & Data plates (on glovebox) is there somthing else that can be used for registering it?

Just wondering if anybody can help with this. What would be the pit falls of buying a Jeep with no data plates or chassis tag. Is the number stamped on the chassis somewhere, is there some other way of registering it or would have to go on a Q plate. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Adam

Thankyou, if I bleed the whole system is it the normal thing of starting with the cylinder furthest away from the master cylinder?

I'm replacing the front wheel cylinders & brake shoes (thankyou Mr Morter & Mr Gaine). Just a thought on fluid, do I need anything special or will regular Dot 3 do. Thanks Adam

You could also try Totec tyres. They import MRF tyres (NDMS Bargrips). Don't forget to get the right bead angle or they can be a sod to get on. Adam

Yesterday. Convoy on the M6 Toll (MOD's got more money than they let on) including 4/5 wolfs with trailers, 4/5 4 tonners with getsets in tow, 3 drops with loads & 2 Oshkosh artics & tankers. All heading north.

Unfortunately when I took the head off part of the gasket was stuck to it & the rest to the barrel. thanks for the link, I managed to find that site a couple of days ago. I have just bought a BSA 300w charging set. Its complete & looks good. It didnt have a spark but that was just the points. One of the valves was stuck so I free'd it off, But now I need a Head Gasket. Does anybody know where I can get one. I have heard here is somebody over Norwich way but dont have any details.

Your right about the campfires (they're banned), just checked my letter. From the map i've got it looks like camping is next to the land warfare museum. Didn't know if there was anything planned for the evening that was all.

I'll be there with my little Bedford. It will be the first proper show I have been to with it. Does anybody know if there will be anything going on saturday night or will we be all round the campfire singing songs?
