Recently aquired this pouch, I had thought it was signals related but I'm not so sure now. its approximately 10 1/2 " high x 5"deep x 6" wide. Back, front, sides and base are all stifened, as is the divider. Inside the lid are a pair of fixed straps that may have retained an instruction book or similar.Unfortunately there are no markings whatsoever on either the pouch or the strap. The small pocket contains the remains of a 3/8 diameter cylindrical piece of cork which may or may not be relevant. If anyone has any ideas I would be eternally grateful. PT

I'm just back from Tanks Trucks and Firepower. Its fairly local to me so I set up Wednesday, and stayed from Thursday through to Monday night. Great show, free to enter with a very very freindly atmosphere and with a massive field to one side just for the AFVs to play around in. Ive been going for about 5 years and every year it has grown biger and better each time. Being situated near Rugby means that its fairly accessible to a large area of the country as well. Look at thier Facebook page (if you do it) for some pictures and video. PT

Highway Code Rule 185 - Roundabouts
armouredfarmer replied to LarryH57's question in I may be stupid, but......
I suspect that in this instance the fault, if any, lies not so much with the highway code as the design of the road layout. Many of these mini roundabouts are squeezed into the space ocupied by the original junction and the small size often makes it extreemly difficult for drivers to decide exactly who has presedence. There are a couple of roundabouts I encounter on a regular basis where traffic grinds to a halt because no-one can decide who should go first. -
Ferretfixer, thanks thats absolutely what I needed to know. I knew you guys could answer any question....

What is this off - Cover assembly brake lever
armouredfarmer replied to Great War truck's topic in MV Chatter
From the Austin K9 parts list, 8F AN 1119 - Cover assembley - Brake lever. -
I did some work on the workshop body at Duxford some years ago and was told then that it was originally a railway wagon body that had been re-purposed at the time, I'm not sure of the veracity of this though. PT
