1. the markings actually ARE Original, just not the HQ 20 , Original hoodnumbers and star have appeared, but VERY strangely also a crude writing saying "Hey u" on the very very first (Original) layer of paint on the side of the vehicle... ill try to upload some pics... still would like to paint it raf blue (dont give a s*** about can of worms, beause everyone seems to be an expert these days..) however if the markings are Original its going to be an 82nd jeep ill upload some pics.
 2. sorry no more pics:( but actually good that the markings are false.. i wanted to paint it fully raf blue anyway
 3. Actually the paint matches the history, it seems the jeep has been in army storage up untill 89, after which ive been the 3rd owner.. so no I dont think its a remake.. but can never be sure
 4. Hello a year ago i purchased my willys jeep, and were just starting to restore it. it seems to be turning out a lot more Original than it was (i knew it had Original body chassis and engine, but more and more Original details seem te be appearing...) but THE most intriguing detail seems to lie under 2 coats of paint..the last owner had converted it in to a canadian unit jeep (with matching green brown colour)
beneath that is is a dark (NOT nato ) green,
and beneath that on the red is the Original olove drag HOWEVER on the hood an Original hood number has appeared, but on the front bumper an 82 AB marking has appeared..<so my question is : are there any sources that list which jeeps where assigned to unit? ie how can i find out if this is Originalmy second question is: did Original ignitions (ie where the keys go in) have numbers below are some pics

8. Hello, im in the market for my dream vehicle, a ww2 willys (or ford) jeep. i dont have the budget for a fully restored as new jeep, but i do have some money, since im selling my dodge wc52 (trade is also possible) what im looking for is the following: i would like a running driving jeep, some work is not a problem. however i do not want a total wreck project (since i am a novice on the mechanics department) preferably one with an Original wartime body and chassis (engine Original would be nice too, but not essential) no hotchkiss or post war bodies please. if you have anything or know anyone please contact me on the following : ( phendriks82@hotmail.com) hope to hear from you!
 9. thank you, nope no relation theres nothing wrong with a dodge, but its too big for a garage, and the gf wants to drive too, o and not to mention that ive Always wanted the jeep... but never could afford it... (and it isnt getting better )
 10. hello, im not good at introductions but lets give it a try i am peter a historian with a great passion (and not enough space in the house for all my collection stuff ) for history, particulary the middle ages and WW2. i currently own a dodge wc52 , but i am looking to trade it in for a jeep, i missed a good jeep on milweb yesterday, and the uk seems to be a great place to find one (im from the Netherlands) so hence me signing up here to continue the quest for a jeep regards peter
