  1. Just seen for sale on EBAY.de a picture of 2 captured Belgian carriers.
  2. I think he means the wire between points and coil. Also check the connectors for corrosion. Other thing i once had, dry rotor bushes in the starter motor so it pulls more power. After oling the car started well again. Good luck.
  3. Here a Liberty truck in the same quarry transporting a part of an huge excavator. The truck was of the local Ford dealer.
  4. Any idea what make this truck would be with the solid tyres? Picture taken during WW2 in a local quarry. The trailer is bringing gas for the old beast. Gas came from an coalmine in the region.
  5. I used the tubes on a repair of a toaster they get red hot every time, works well till now 😉
  6. This type of windings can be repaired by stucking the ends in very small silver tubes and pinch them. It's the kind of connectors that they used in telephone connections in the past.
  7. The bodyshop that repaired my car, cleaned it like new. (it is parked under trees so lots of green on it everywhere.) They used a product called Cartec. It dissolves organic matter. They spray it on and a few minutes later it is washed with warm water. Ready. I don't know it they did pressure wash it.
  8. To get brass clean without scratching it. Put it in vinigar with a few spoons of salt mixed in. It will come out like red copper but after a little swipe it looks like new.
  9. In sweden they have day driving lights, maybe this was installed later to upgrade the truck to the new laws?
  10. Might be an motorcycle switch like this.
  11. I don't think it's a pull switch but a tumble switch dip and beam. I have seen them somewhere before but where...
  12. Is there no makers mark on the back?
  13. Are the bushes were the startermotor axle turns in ok? Lubrificated well?
