  1. Hi I was wondering whether it would be possible to take some photos of the vehicles at the base camp in Broadmayne on the Friday? I am currently putting together a new series of books on military vehicles (I have had several titles published already). I have found from experience that it is much easier to get decent photos of the vehicles at this sort of event when the general public are not around.
  2. I may just take you up on that when I'm next in your neck of the woods. Bit of a hike from down here in the West Country!
  3. Hi I have just joined up. The next couple of days just seemed to disappear as I started looking through all the restoration blogs. Some amazing work going on there! I don't own a vehicle myself but I have written a couple of books and I'm always on the look out for interesting vehicles (generally WW2) to photograph. I hope the vehicle will come later, once the children are grown up!
  4. Only just joined up so I haven't seen this thread until now. I'd like to put together some scale drawings of these, does anyone have any dimensions?
  5. Hi, I have had a keen interest in (mostly WW2) military vehicles since an Airfix Matador kit started me on the slippery slope at the age of seven. I have been taking photos of restored vehicles for many years now and sourcing scale plans and any other info with a view to producing a new range of books. I am always on the look out for vehicles I haven't photographed or opportunities to take more or better pictures of ones I have. It's great to have the opportunity to document the work of all the dedicated restorers and enthusiasts who preserve all these fascinating bits of history and to make it available to a wider audience.
