  1. Hi, I can state with certainty that these were contained in 24 hr rat packs in 1969. Hope that helps! There was a white squeezy tube of condensed milk to go with the tea.
  2. Hi, I'm new to the forum with main interest in James ML motorbike. I have one registered on the road and another in process of restoration. Always interested to hear from anyone with one of these bikes.
  3. As the DVAL does not hold details of other countries' registrations how will the cameras/police cars be able to check the taxation details of cars from the rest of the EU? There are dozens of eastern European cars in my area, and currently none have bothered with tax discs (illegal if the owner is working or resident in UK). Not only are they not paying the road tax - but that makes any insurance invalid. How than these cars be checked? How can the owners' addresses be checked? If anyone is in a position to know I would love to hear from them.
  4. Hi, I'm John and this is my first post. I am ex-forces, but fully retired now. I own a 1942 Willys MB that has been in my possession for just over twenty years and regularly attend rallies in the midlands (and sometimes further afield). I'm currently rebuilding a James ML which is (was) missing the headlamp. I have now acquired a headlamp but will have to manufacture the supporting stays. Could anyone provide me with the measurements for their bike? Center bolt hole to center bolt hole for the upper and lower stays, plus the width of the stay? I have found a lot of other useful information about the MLs on the forum, as well as info on other vehicles.
