  1. Need someone to take a pallet to Nelson BB6 and load an object around 90kg onto it. Then I will organize collection myself. If anyone can help, drop me a line. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Eric, but I'm looking for a RHD vehicle. No luck yet!
  3. Champs are not common over here. Looking to scratch the MOD 90 itch, but no luck yet
  4. Petrol, leaf spring ... already have my 1942 Willys MB for that!
  5. Sadly although ex-MOD series Land Rovers are quite common here, 90s aren't. If anyone knows of one in good condition, I would like to hear from him. Regards, Joseph
  6. Both, and also the fact that it would be exempt from the annual road tax over here. Any clues to where I can find a good example? Regards, Joseph.
  7. Looking for an ex-MOD Land Rover 90 with original normally aspirated (or is it normally asphyxiated ) engine in good condition, preferably soft top. Must be 1987 or earlier. Thanks, Joseph
  8. Thanks Wally, much appreciated. Regards, Joseph.
  9. Thank you, that is most interesting! Is there an online version of this Chilwell list so I may view it?
  10. Thanks for your replies. Which source describes this number range 4970101 - 4990100? Does it reliably indicate that M4985796 was operating in the Middle East?
  11. Hello all, first post on this forum. I'm in Malta and currently restoring a Willys MB jeep which was used by the British Army, then sold to civilian ownership in 1947. The frame tag is missing but the hood number was M4985796. I know its a long shot, but are there any records which can shed more light on its history such as original frame number and army unit to which it was assigned? Regards, Joseph.
  12. Hello, I'm Joseph from Malta. I've owned a Willys jeep for over ten years, dismantled and being rebuilt for the past two. Stable companions include a BSA M20 and a Matchless G3. Looking forward to spending more time reading on these boards!
