  1. For your information : I'm selling reproduction B-set rods for your 19-set. ANTENNAE RODS "G" ZA1771 (B-set). Reproductions made from copper tube and threads in brass. Tube length 24" (as originals) and right tube diameter. Top of the tube is open as original British produced examples. Correct thread size and length, will screw into your base without adjustments. To avoid corrosion the threads are made in brass. First batch is painted in British service brown, but can easily spray painted in any color of your desire. > To prevent these rods sold as originals (sold for 45 pounds / 50 euros these days if you can find them) these reproduction rods are stamped with an "R" at the base, denoting reproduction. Also the weight (ca. 90 grams) is a little higher than the originals. < Sold as reproduction, I cannot guarantee these will send/receive radio signals properly. £22 / €25 each, exclusive postage Shipping from The Netherlands or UK (tbc, might take several months) Please send PM for additional info or placing orders.
  2. Have a look on the Daimler Dingo Society Facebook Group. Images are stored in the "Files" section, just type "aerial" and you will find them. https://www.facebook.com/groups/437020513037556/?locale=nl_NL
  3. The suit isn't only used for Daimler Dingos crews, also other "open" armoured car crews. But I must day the price seems extreem high to me.
  4. Hello group ! Recently I've bought some british WW2 blackout covers for my Daimler Dingo (Restoration in progress). With friends we discussed about british and canadian military blackout covers, and suddenly we realised we knew nothing about the Australian blackout covers used during WW2. We suppose that the Canadian produced vehicles (CMP) came with matching canadian covers, but what about AUSTRALIAN PRODUCED blackout covers ?? The very little info I found was about a set being stored in a round tin can ("cookie jar"). It was described as having a small round glass (about a watch-size) with a blue and a clear glass lens. A hinged lid would be fitted to allow a full light beam to be used when needed. QUESTION : Has any one additional photos of original WW2 Australian blackout covers? Or additional instructions ? Why the 2 different glass lenses, one blue and one clear ? Thanks for your help !
  5. It might help, if you refer to the lorries as a "Recreational Vehicle" -or even better " a Campervan". They are also large, taken-out out a few times per year and NON-commercial.
  6. And w itch battery looks the most like a "L-WD-2/4" ??
  7. Hello forum! My Hillman Mk2 has got a modern battery that needs replacement. According to the parts manual it originally was fitted with a "L-WD-2" , or a "L-WD-4" or a "BNW7/9A" battery. The Hillman has got a 1Volts, negative ground system. My question : Has anybody got photo's / drawings and measurements of these batteries ? With the photo's and measurements I can go and search for a modern batterie that looks as good as possible. Anyone has a link to a "vintage repro" battery seller? Thanks in advance !
