  1. Ladies and Gentleman You will be pleased as I was to hear that the bike has been found by the police and returned to the owner. Martin is well pleased as there seems very little damage done and it would appear that it was only taken to bezz about the woods with, but having little petrol in did not go too far. To those that kept an eye open at shows and whilst out and about, and I know that there are a few as I met some looking as I was at one show, a very bigs thank you. Cheers Paps
  2. Ow do I wish I have a WWII gatt lying about...I loved the SLR and would sell the wife for one :-D Ooopppsss....Sold her for my Landrover :-o Nothing left but cash...
  3. Guy... This last week I have been through tyres like toilet paper and I am forced to look at new rims and tyres for my GS90. I obviously have been looking at the Goodyear G90 but having seen and read what some you have been putting, it seems that this is not the right chose. Has anyone any advice as to what I should be buying that will do for both road and rough track? Cheers Paps

  6. Sounds like a good show, shame the web site is very illusive about details like start times, dates and so on... Says it starts Friday the 8th. Is this the case? Is it open to the public from Friday? What time are the gates opening? Cheers Paps

  9. Wonder if Santa knows about this site  Dear Santa.... I have been a good boy, so can I have one of everything on this site...LOL
  10. LMAO....I will use that excuse when I tell the wife in the morning that I AM GOING to get a FFR... I have done much research and so far I can only find one that follows close to 71 KB 52..that being 71 KB 50. This was a completely different interior and when first released did not have the wardrobe, did not have the desk, had a longer bed and wall to wall wardrobe down the off side wall. With regards radios, I gather that 95 KA 67 was fitted with some coms. Whilst not up to a FFR standard it was fitted. Most though, as you said were only fitted with 2 phone points. The user handbook would be great. It is the only thing that I am short off.
  11. Not yet, but will do tonight..Thanks for that
  12. Missed this one, when was it on....Sunday night....?? NOTE TO SELF...Start reading TV Times as much and as often as you read the forums and you wont miss stuff liek this dougnut
  13. I bought the 109 a couple of weeks ago, and am finding it hard to find any resource material with regards radios. (Layouts, component names and numbers etc) In its hay day, it would have been flanked by a FFR, but as the wife would kill me if I also bought one of those as well, and I dont have the dosh at the mo, I want to fit some coms kit into this one, whilst I shower her with flowers and chocolates until she is convinced that an FFR is also needed. Anyone got any suggestions, ideas or thoughts? I have bought a couple of bits already, but mainly cos they look Gucci rather than functional pieces. Although the 'Channel hoping antenna's and bases' are working and I have just ordered the ATU's but am not sure how long they are going to take to arrive. This is an open question and has no right answer as the 36 Carawagons were all fitted out differently and to what ever was needed at the time. So all suggestions, help would be gratefuly recieved. Thanks
