Rather than create a load of different threads i thought it would be more economic to put Dutch heavies into one thread and propose to do the same with some German and Scandinavian items unless anyone is not happy with that arrangement. So to start a shot of the Dutch produced FTF MS4050 6x4 tractor of which 39 were purchased as a replacement for the ageing Antars during 1972. The FTF built trailer is loaded with a leopard 2 MBT, winches were supplied by both Tulsa and Rotzer

Does anyone know if any of the dutch Antars made it through to preservation?

The cab on that Daf 3500 reminds of the front screen of the Tatra 813.

OK just to please yer some DAF YBs the first a YB616 has a most unusual crane which looks to be mounted in the centre of the body and has a grab that looks like one of those brick hoists seen on builders merchant trucks, i can only think its used to self load ammo pallets any ideas anyone. The second is the fuel tanker 7000 litres on the SWB chassis followed by the gun tractor and 155mm howitzer and last thethe flexable runway

Some DAF 2300 trucks two general cargo with crane and the tipper version, something i have noticed on the 6 wheeled cargos is that the Dutch dont seem to use a tilt and canvas on them i have never seen one over there and cant remember a photo of same

For most of th dutch army Antars the end of their working carreer ended in 1974 when the FTF made its apearance in th army.
Know of one complete dutch army Antar being preserved by a MV dealer in Holland.
