Whats the origin of this one? What you have got looks to be good, but what are you missing?
Tim (too)
Tony - what does this finished product look like?

We do have most of the parts to restore the truck M-2-4 where built for the U.S.M.C. They built about 9000 up to 1945 .No TM or not much information on them ( another challenge to get this one right ) One in picture is in USA Still some work to do . Dont think any others in UK T CORBIN
Have a look at Military medias CD No 1 that has a list of US military vehicles on it. Including details of yours.

When you start taking things apart you nead supper glue
I don't think super glue will help that, you might do better with U.S. military spec supper dooper glue
Sorry to see that :shake: hope you don't find any more horrors, good luck with the build..
Are you sure it isn't part Land Rover? :|

What a fantastic looking motor.
Hi TC, what a superb project. You may already know him, but there is a fella in West Sussex who is seriously into 'Inters', maybe he could be worth talking to?
Good luck with it, I look forward to seeing the progress

Its good to be able to start putting the parts back together . Which have been rebuilt.
You've got a lot of work ahead of you, Tony, but at least you've been spared the most difficult decision of any project - how far to strip it down? especially when a vehicle is in half-decent order to start with. I think that only by doing what you are having to do, can you achieve a really 'top drawer' result to rival the Wheatcroft boys!
Heck Tony, you are probably seeing bits the manufactures have forgotten are there. Genuine nut and bolt rebuild.

It came in 75% com pleat But they never had hard cabs . We have got the right bulkhead for it & most of the parts to complete Their is no TM for it ? So it a bit of a pain but we will get it finished T CORBIN

All looking wonderful. Well done, nice job.
Interestingly, on the right hand side of the right photo on the previous page it would appear that you have a cash point machine in your workshop. Now that is a piece of useful workshop equipment that we could all use.

With a bit of luck if i get it finished for DUXFORD in JUNE .I will run it round the tank running area to try the 4x4 As we did with both GTBs Then it will go to BELTERING a find some mud . According to one of the books it supposed to be very good in soft ground (it has to be tried to make shure it all works)T CORBIN
How did you arrive at the shade of green for the engine, Tony? I like it - always think an overall olive drab looks so dull in the engine bay!
