View Full Version : Question Crusader Part numbers anyone?

Hi All.

A new face amongst you and already asking for information.... Sorry.

I have just bought myself a nice example of a Scammell Crusader / EKA, 1979 vintage.

Need a couple of parts and have been asked by a supplier to provide part numbers.

The parts required are.....

N/S and O/S opening 1/4 window / vent on cab doors

2 x Upright Exhaust Silencers ( Behind Cab)

If anyone has access to thiose numbers I will be eternally grateful.

Yes a great choice indeed :-D
Been chasing one of these for the best part of 2 years and lo and behold 2 came up together!! only wish I had the money to buy both but just the one was way cheaper than the divorce!!!
I will hopefully get some pictures up in the next day or two.

Vent assy (L.H) -Door Window........ 41008882
Vent assy (R.H) -Door Window........ 41008883

Silencer (Chiswick and Wright No. PR401)......... 41015350

I have a parts book for the Scammell/EKA if you need any more numbers.
I also have a couple of vent glasses but the frames are gone as they normally rot away. (like most of the rest of the Motor Panels Cab!)

It's Cheswick Jon, Chiswick is an area of London:coffee:

I never understood the exhaust system on Crusaders, a restrictive 'T' piece and two silencers where one would have sufficed.

I am currently waiting for a parts book to arrive but the offer of further help is very much appreciated.

Have sent them off to the supplier, see what he can find!
